1. Download the APK on your phone and allow installation from your browser.
2. Open boltvpn.io. Sign in with email or Google, or choose Explore app for an account-free preview.
3. Tap Connect and approve Android’s VPN permission. The moving ring settles when the connection is verified.

Updating an older test build? This release uses the existing permanent signing certificate, so current signed beta installations update normally. Very early preview builds used a different certificate. If Android says the app conflicts with an existing package, disconnect and uninstall the older BoltVPN app, then install this download and sign in again. Uninstalling clears this device’s saved settings; your account and plan remain.

Includes connect on app launch and per-app split tunneling. Updates retain the existing signing identity. This is a direct-download beta, not a Google Play release.

1. Download the APK and transfer it to your TV using a trusted file-transfer method.
2. Allow installation for the file manager you use, then open BoltVPN.
3. Select Sign in with your remote. On your phone, visit boltvpn.io/activate and enter the TV’s code.

Shares the Android APK with a separate landscape interface, directional focus and connect-on-launch setting. Physical TV and remote acceptance tests remain pending. This is not a Google Play TV release.

1. Open the BoltVPN Setup download and select Install.
2. Approve the Windows administrator prompt. The installer includes the runtime and automatically sets up the VPN component.
3. Open boltvpn.io from your Start menu and sign in with email or Google. Open Account for membership and device management.

Already have BoltVPN? Disconnect, close the app, then run the new setup. It replaces the previous version and keeps your saved account. The automated 0.1.2 → 0.4.0 upgrade check preserves encrypted account data.

No separate downloads or terminal commands. Development installer: production code signing and physical Windows routing/leak tests remain pending. Closing the app disconnects the VPN.

1. Download the .deb package to your computer.
2. Open it with Software Installer, select Install and approve the administrator prompt. Required components install automatically.
3. Open boltvpn.io from Applications. Sign in with email or Google, then review the VPN disclosure. Choose a location on Connect; find membership options under Account.

Already have BoltVPN? Disconnect and close the app, then install the newer package normally. Package upgrades preserve your saved account in the desktop keyring.

The package installs its GTK, WireGuard, NetworkManager and desktop keyring dependencies. No terminal commands are needed on supported graphical desktops. No split tunneling or persistent kill switch in this beta. Closing the app disconnects. Broader physical-device, recovery and leak acceptance testing continues.

The first installable beta will use Apple’s TestFlight app. Apple signing and physical-device VPN checks are still pending. A TestFlight link will appear here when the beta is available; no separate dependencies will be needed.
